hmmm.me is a quiz site. That is the short version. The longer version is below.
Who runs this
A small editorial team based in Kyiv, Ukraine. We design and write every quiz ourselves. We do not have an office, we do not have a PR department, and we do not run a newsletter you will regret signing up for. Just a few people, and a list of quizzes we thought would be interesting to build.
What the site is for
Most people arrive from a search, take a quiz, and leave. That is fine — that is what the site is for. Answer twenty questions, get a result, share it with a friend, move on.
Some quizzes are serious. Personality tests that look at five stable traits, or how you tend to form relationships, or how you read emotional cues. Those are shaped by published psychological research. Others are lighter — aura colors, mental age, how rare your particular pattern of preferences is. The site mixes both. What the site is not
None of our quizzes diagnose anything. If a quiz tells you your attachment style leans anxious, that does not mean you have a disorder. If a quiz gives you a low emotional intelligence score, it does not mean you are broken. These are short self-report questionnaires. They are patterns, not verdicts.
If you are dealing with something heavy, please talk to a qualified therapist or doctor. A twenty-question quiz cannot do that work, and we would rather send you to someone who can.
How we build quizzes
Each quiz starts with a topic and a target length. We draft questions by hand, test them against the scoring logic, and rewrite anything that sounds like filler. For quizzes based on established models (Big Five, emotional intelligence, attachment theory), we reference public-domain item banks and adapt them into conversational language. We do not copy proprietary instruments verbatim, and we do not pretend to be a clinical service.
Translation
Every quiz is written in English first, then translated into six other languages — Spanish, Portuguese, German, French, Japanese, Ukrainian. Each translation is reviewed before publication. If something reads oddly in your language, email us and we will fix it.
How the site is funded
Ads. We run Google AdSense, and that is the only thing keeping the site free. We do not sell user data. We do not run affiliate links inside quiz content. We do not do sponsored questions.
Editorial independence
We decide which quizzes to make. No advertiser, partner, or third party has a say in what we write. If a quiz ever reads like an advertisement for something, that is a bug — tell us and we will rewrite it.
